Gentle January Reset for a Tiny Art Business | Upper Room Prints

We’re Back (Gently)
Happy Monday, friends.
Blogmas was a lot of fun, and also a lot of words. After December, I took a couple weeks off on purpose so I could rest, reset, and let my brain be a little quieter for a minute.
Now we’re back.
Not “new year, new me.” More like “same me, but with snacks and a realistic plan.”
What’s different right now
- I’m pacing myself on purpose.
- I’m focusing on consistency over intensity.
- I’m building in rest so I can keep making things long-term.
What I’m working on this month
- Getting back into the rhythm of making and listing without rushing.
- Prepping for spring slowly, like a responsible turtle.
- Keeping things cozy, practical, and actually doable.

What I’m not doing
- No panic productivity.
- No forcing big launches before my body is ready.
- No pretending I can do five people’s worth of work in one week.
If you’re also easing back into things after the holidays, consider this your permission slip to do it the gentle way.
Thanks for being here. Thanks for cheering on my tiny art business. I’m really glad you’re along for the ride.
See you next Monday.
